The Tamiya Mini 4WD Program Is Live: Build, Tune, Race

Our Tamiya Mini 4WD program is officially running as its own structured club within HUR. It is 1/32 scale, gravity and motor powered, and built around one idea: teach science, technology, engineering, and math through play.

Sessions run three hours: one hour of build and tune time, two hours of racing. Nine racers per session, qualifiers feed a losers bracket and finals, three to six laps per heat. Weekly gatherings, plus a monthly prize race.

Getting started costs about $40: a Mach Frame FM-A chassis, two rechargeable AAs, and your first race fee. Per-event entry is $5 to $10 per car, which covers the space, tools, and loaner batteries and chargers.
